Brynn's First Day of Kindergarten!

August 1st was a big day! Brynn is SO excited to be in school with her big sisters! She has a great teacher Mrs. Holt. She is AWESOME! I LOVE how they have the Kindergarten set up. It reminds me of when I was in Kindergarten. She had a great first day and is in the same class as her best friend Kirsi and also Harley who is in our ward. So that is fun. Her hair thing broke and so part way through the day she had a little melt down but her teacher was great and all was well when I got her.

Alan's Homecoming/Breezy's Visit

We had a crazy weekend. Saturday we all left the reunion. When I got home Breezy came down from Idaho (up from Texas) to spend the next week with me. We talked to Danita while she was still in Europe. After we got off the phone we decided we were going to go to Oregon to go see her. Sunday was Alan's Homecoming at church. We took Marina with us. Alan gave a wonderful talk. It was great to see how much he has grown in the last 2 years. Then it was off to my parents for lunch. I asked my dad and mom to borrow the suburban and got the go ahead! WOOHOO!!!

At Alan's lunch I got to see tons of family and Candice was there (my brothers GF when he left). It was so good to see her.

The kids had a picnic under the kitchen in their "fort".

As usual Joe fell asleep.....

After most everyone had left we did family pictures. They turned out SO nice! I can't wait for them to come!

The Day Family Runion

I love family reunions! They are so much fun! I decided to go a day early with all the kids and met up with few of the family that had decided to go Thursday. We almost didn't get to go because there was a HUGE fire in that canyon and we weren't sure it would be out or it could have gone into Fountain Green and burnt the campground down ect.. but 2 days before we were to got they opened the a canyon.

When we arrived a storm was on the horizon but I had hoped it would miss us. It didn't.... It DUMPED buckets on us. So we all stayed in our cars til it cleared. I got out as it was dying down afraid it would pick back up so I wanted to have the trailer up just in case it did. I ran out and opened the trailer a bit and got my bag out and put it in the truck and grabbed my sweatshirt. Threw it on and got the trailer set up. The storm never came back so we made camp. As everyone was showing up I had dinner almost ready to cook. I sent Tay to get the Dr Pepper for the beans out of the truck. A few hours later I realized that she had locked the keys in the truck!!! Fortunately nothing really important was in there except my clothes. We made it through the night. I stayed up with Brad and Janelle playing a dice game.

Then next day all the rest of us came and we had a great time. We went on a hike thr- ough Box Canyon WAY AWESOME! Came back and had dutch oven dinner then off to the
Nephi Pageant. It was about the Handcart companies that crossed the plains to SLC. It was pretty good! That night me and my brothers and sisters stayed up way late and sat around the campfire talking about us when were younger. Not having been a part of them at that time it was fun to hear all the stories and still feel connected.

Next morning we all had breakfast together and a bunch of people were finishing up Harry Potter. After breakfast the kids played in the water and we cleaned up camp. Then Joe took out the little 50 dirt bike and everyone took turns riding it. It was so fun! Even Dad got on and my uncle Sam. We all had a great time I wish everyone had come down Thursday.

Alan's Home!!

My brother Alan came home from Ukraine on the
25th of July. Mom and dad and all my brothers and sisters (except Brad and Janelle) were there at the airport. It was so awesome to go. ALOT of missionaries were coming home that day as well as other people out of country for one reason or another. So the baggage claim area was SUPER full!

I made a cool looking sign and we brought him a Mt Dew and Dr Pepper. 2 things he didn't have there and missed. It is good to have him home. He got to see new babies and those that were babies when he left all grown up now. I am so glad my children have been able to see the examples my brothers have set by going on missions and choosing righteous paths.

Pioneer Day

We didn't really do anything super way fun. Joe was a retard and didn't bother to ask if they had the day off and he went to work.... The ONE day he goes to the office he has off..... We did have a nice fireworks show on our street that night so that was fun.

Our neighbor had some bottle rockets that was cool.

WOW!!!

The last 3 weeks have just FLOWN!!! It has been a blast but wild and crazy! I will give each event its own blog.

What a week (or so)!

We have been so busy I have not been able to post! After Ryan's 2nd b-day party it was the 4th and stupid me I didn't bring out the camera the whole time! We went back to Riverton Days and the kids watched some puppet shows and a magic show. Then we walked around at the booths and the girls got their hair all done up fancy with glitter and everything from the people at Sweet and Sassy. I don't know why I didn't take the camera out of the diaper bag! Their hair was SOOOO pretty! I found a new hair lady who also does waxing so i am excited! We ran into our neighbors from our old house Mike and Nikki and their little girl Bailey. The kids ran a relay race. Ry ry was SOOOOOO cute running the baton to his sister. We took the dogs with us and EVERYONE had to stop us to see Corde. We went over by the ponies and she was almost as big as the baby ponies! After the long day in the sun we went home to rest then we went to dinner and then fireworks with Jim and Joelle down to Thanksgiving Point. It was so nice!!!! The kids could just run around and it was safe and fun for everyone. Next year we will bring our fireworks and do those in the parking lot while everyone else tries to get out.

Thursday Joe and I went to see Transformers (Joe's 3rd time seeing it in 1 week!) with Darren and Stacie. It was AWESOME! What a good movie!!! Joe can't wait to take Ry.

Friday Joe and I went to Park City to hear about a timeshare up there and we got a FREE cruise out of it!!! We have to pay the port fees and taxes which will come to just under $600 total! And with deals on Jet Blue the airfare will be super cheap! So I am WAY excited and Joe is even more happy we chose to buy the Trendwest from my aunt.

On the 10th we got to go see Harry Potter a day early!!! On the IMAX in 3D!!! It was awesome to see it there but it didn't make it my fav movie. I just don't understand why Hollywood feels like they need to change something so perfect. Oh well.....

Wed was a water day at our neighbors and the kids had a blast and I had fun talking to adults.

Thursday we went out for Jackie and Russel's birthdays. It was a nice place up in Bountiful. We stayed for a while. Then we headed to G-mas for the kids to sleep over and Joe and I were going to go to Red Robin for dessert but when we got there there was a note on g-ma's door saying her sister(Denise) was there and that they had gone to the park for a bit while they waited for us to get back. Well she is Joe's fav aunt and her kids are his fav cousins so we waited for them to get back. We ahd a nice time talking til 11.

That weekend was the Dearing reunion (Jo-an's family) We spent the whole weekend with that side of the family. Mostly with Denise and her crew. Our kids LOVE Joe's cousin's kids. Friday they came to our house for the evening and we had a big dinner. We had the reunion Sat. up Hobble Creek Canyon then Sunday we went to church then we headed to the park by G-mas house to go play int eh water fountain with the cousins. When we got there a storm was blowing in so we turned around and went to g-ma's. They had plans to go to their cousin's (Jo-an and Denise's) for dinner. We hadn't planned on being at G-mas. Well G-ma called her cousin and invited us to come along. We had Navajo tacos. Oh yah by the way Denise is married to a Navajo. So they were REAL and SOOOOOOO yummy! They were so sad when the time came to an end. We decided in October when the kids are off track we will go to New Mexico for a week or so. That will be WAY fun! The kids can't wait!
