Brynn's graduation

Well its official, Brynn has graduated from Pre-school and is ready for Kindergarten. She was so proud and excited. The kids all said their names and what they wanted to be when they grew up. Brynn wants to be a mom. One kid wanted to be a Popsicle maker! Too funny huh?? If I can figure out how to add video I will put one of the songs they did and Brynn's commencement.
Its kinda crazy to think I will have 3 in regular school next year but it will be nice too. She is so excited to go to kindergarten.

Katya's birthday

Well it was an eventful day. Katya wanted a sleep-over. What I didn't realize was that her friends are JUST LIKE HER!

She had an American Idol party. They danced and sang and were having a great time. They did the Macarana and a few other songs. Then it was time to eat, do presents and have cake and ice cream. Then hot tub time. After that they were just having a great time hanging out until someone suggested they play a "game". The game was American Idol and people were making up rules left and right and assigning roles that people didn't want ect.... The girls were all fighting. Katya was crying and proclaiming this was the worst b-day ever! We had girls threatening to to "just leave" and then they would all rally to her and say no don't go...

So they stopped that game and went out side and began a new one and every one was fighting and screaming at each other out side!!!! So we got that under control and it was starting to get dark. We put on a movie. Finally no one was angry and anyone else. One girl wasn't feeling well so she went home. After that is was quite peaceful. They even fell asleep early. The next morning we had breakfast and Katya went to her friends house and then to another friends house. She was gone all day and had a blast.

A Sad Good-bye

Well it took me a while to remember to download the pictures so I didn't do the blog until today, but on June 8th we said good-bye to Zi-hyun Lee our exchange daughter from Korea. It was very sad and no one was ready for her to go especially Ryan. He wouldn't hug her or anything

We loved having her in our home and part of our family. She fit right in and everyone was very comfortable. On numerous times she told me she was comfortable in our family that it was just like her own. I was very similar to her mom and Joe to her dad.

We miss her very much. Sometimes Ryan will ask where she is. Its so sad....

We are hoping she will come back soon to go to school in America. She would like to do her college studies here since it will be very difficult for her to get into a university in Korea. So we may see her in a year or so.

Taylor's Baptism

Tay's baptism went perfect! She was so pretty and so excited. She truly is an angel.

We had almost all the family there. Britt, Lindy and Jake had to work and are out of state so it was hard for them to get here. But everyone else was there. We had so many friends come and support us and Taylor. We feel so blessed to have such good friends.

The kids had a great time with G-ma and G-pa and their aunt Chelsie and uncles Ben and Caleb who they don't get to see very often. The weather was perfect and the lunch went very well. It was a little crazy there at first but after that it was very enjoyable. Everyone jumped in to help in anyway they could.

The girls' teacher, from Oakcrest, Ms. Dalgliesh was there. They were so excited to have her come. We just love her and can't wait to spend our short summer doing things with her.
