Brenden's Birthday

We went to Idaho to my sisters for Brenden's birthday. It was alot of fun! He was so happy his cousins came.

We went to an arcade/pizza place then back to Holly's house for cake and presents.

My New Addiction

Well as my mom pointed out I guess I have a new addiction. Although I don't think I chose it... it chose me.

Surgeries.

Weird yes I know. In 03 I had sinus surgery. 05 shoulder. 06 colonoscopy. 07 boob job. 08 hysterectomy.

That being said apparently 1 a year isn't enough for my body. The left breast implant healed way low so in March they are going to go in and fix it. Then last night when taking a package of toilet paper out if the car my shoulder (yes the one I had surgery on) dislocated AGAIN. Saw the orthopedic today and he says I will prob need surgery again. This time he will most likely have to cut open the shoulder. Nice huh? Then later this year I was planning to have my foot surgery. I may hold off on that...

What is wrong with me?? Do I have some mental issue or is my body raging war on itself?

Is there a store where I can order body that doesn't break?

Ryan and his cousin Kale went to the monster truck show again with their dads. They had the BEST time!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

We had the BEST Valentines Day EVER!!!!!!


Wed the 13th was my 6 week mark of no activity after my surgery. When we figured that out a few weeks before my surgery we booked the Anniversary Inn for that night. Just in time for Valentines Day!!!

We booked the best room in the whole place. We LOVED it!!!! I wish we had taken the camera with us so we could take pictures of all we did and saw that night.

The Hotel - When you got to the room door it was the only one different from the whole rest of the hotel. It had HUGE double mahogany doors that opened to this HUGE room with giant picture windows that over looked all of downtown Salt Lake. It had a 3 sided fireplace and one side was the window of the tub shower that was as big and an elevator!! We could sit next to each other with room to spare! The shower had 5 heads! One in the ceiling and 4 on the walls. It was AWESOME!!!!!!! The bed was a mahogany 4 poster canopy. The celing above it was recessed with big fat mahogany crown molding. It was so amazing! We will be staying there again.

The Dinner - We went to dinner at a very quiet romantic place with not the best food for our taste. It was great but just not us. I had a very sexy new dress on and had my hair done up perfectly (thanks Lisa!!!) It was the perfect place for us to exchange gifts ect... Turns out we both had HUGE surprises! I got Joe a new wedding band back in Nov and he had NO clue. Then last Saturday I had it engraved and a kiosk in the Fashion Place Mall while Joe was shopping for a watch. While I was pretending to look at the purse kiosk for new covers(really getting the ring done) Joe was actually looking at jewelry for me!! He bought me new diamond studs!!

I won't mention after dinner.... It was fun though!

The next morning we took a shower in the oh so fabulous shower. Had breakfast then went to Joe's office to print of a coupon for a free b-day lunch for Joe. While there we got to show off our new gifts and sit and chat with friends. Then we went to see Fools Gold. Great, funny movie! We had lunch at Red Robin and then came home.

We had the best time. Grandma was awesome to watch the kids the whole time even thought there was a huge snow storm which meant the kids started out at her house instead of ours. She had to drive them to school clear from Murray. So YEA for Grandma!!!!

Ryan's 1st sleepover!

After Joe's birthday dinner Darren and Stacie asked if Ryan wanted to sleep over.

Ryan had the BEST time!!!!!

They got to sleep in a spiderman/venom tent and watched monster trucks and too all the books off the book shelf and put them in the tent. They had a great time playing together.

Before they left we told them that Ryan sho0uld have anything to drink before bed just in case since he would be someplace new and wouldn't know where the bathroom was in the middle of the night. Of course all he asked for all night was a drink. LOL!!

They had Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and played some more.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE!!!!

Joe is an OLD man today! He is now 33!!

We celeb- rated last night with his family and the Leggetts at the Chinese place. His parents and Jackie and Russel with their daughter Samantha were there. Joe's cousin Darren and his wife Stacie and their son Kale came. Joe's best friend since there were in diapers Tyler came with his family. Sunny(his wife) Brooklyn(daughter & Brynn's friend) and AJ (son). It was a great time.

On the way home Joe decided at 9pm that he wanted to go to a movie. We had no sitter. Joe called the Smiths in our ward at 9 o'clock!!! Of course they were gracious and kind and laughed about it. So we picked up Silvia and went to see The Bucket List. I haven't laughed so hard out loud at a movie in a VERY long time. SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny!!!

Tonight we are going to the Cheesecake Factory with Jim & Joelle and Zane & Lisa. Then to see Fool's Gold and then probably play games.

So a fun b-day for Joe!

2 years!

We have been here in Riverton for 2 years now! Can you believe it?! We feel like we have never been anywhere else. We are quite settled and love it here. We have a wonderful ward and have made so many good friends. We even love our neighbors! The Lord knew where we needed to be and I hope we get to stay here for a long time.
